Evan Rubinson is a businessman who is best known for serving as the leader, in the musical instruments and musical accessories industry. Mr. Rubinson has always had a love of music and grew up fully immersed in music. Mr. Rubinson is currently making a name for himself in the music industry by starting a company called ERA Music Brands, a brand that he hopes will grow into something huge. Evan Rubinson holds a B.A from Duke University. When he attended college, he intended on focusing his career in finance and investing. While attending school, he interned during the summers with some large finance companies, but his first big break came after college, when he started Koroit Capital, a healthcare-centric hedge fund. Mr. Rubinson continued to explore the investment field, becoming an active real estate investor and investing in biotechnology companies. Through his investments, he was able to serve as the chief investment officer, or CIO, of his own firms. This opened the door for him to take on Executive positions that would forever shape his world.
Around the age of 25, Evan Rubinson was able to get his start working as the president with his first music brand. Since then, he has worked with a few other famous brands that included Luna and ddrum Precussion. Not only did he serve as the president but he eventually became a co-owner of each of these brands. In 2022, Evan Rubinson made a huge decision. He decided to step away from the day-to-day management of Luna and ddrum Precussion. He decided that he would found his own musical accessories and musical instruments company from the ground up. He named this company ERA Music Brands. Mr. Rubinson is the founder, brand-builder, with responsibilities that include everything from complex, high-level, strategic problems to simple, hands-on purchasing and hiring.
In addition to the work he is doing in the music industry, Evan Rubinson is proud to serve on many boards and give back when he is able to. He currently services as a member of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), services as a a member of the board for the Duke University Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee (AAAC) and serves as a member of the advisory board panel for the USF Muma College of Business’s Digital Marketing Program. Mr. Rubinson is a proud donor to Duke University and Tampa Jesuit High School, both places that have provided him with the education that shaped his future. He also is proud to give to the Tampa Bay Humane Society, SGT Shredder: Rocking to Heal Vets and the Mike Calta Family Foundation, Wounded Warriors and Southeastern Guide Dogs.
